Way Back When-esday
When the girls were babies, they had some major reflux issues. Even on medicine, they spit up MANY times a day. We cleaned up after them so much they eventually started doing some of their own clean up! Here they are in June of 2006, when they were about 14 months old, pretending to clean the floor. I wish they were still this interested in cleaning!

HAH! That's awesome :) Totally hear you about wishing they'd still have some interest in cleaning ;)
Isn't it great when they're intrested in cleaning. The Girl likes to take plates to the kitchen counter and throw things in the garbage. I don't want it to end!!
I just had to comment...my daughter had reflux issues too up until she was 9 months old. I never quite figured out how to get her to clean up after herself, but she sure did a great job painting with it!
I am in awe of them! That is FANTASTIC! (We were of the refluxy variety too, but ours never thought about helping clean up after!)
What precious little sweeties you have!
Thank you so much for playing along with Way Back When-esday!
How funny!
Mine both had HORRIBLE reflux as well, but never cleaned up after themselves....
Thank you for your nice comments on my 100th post!
Awww...I remember those days. Our Jack had MAJOR acid reflux and we were covered in spit up for 9 months. It was awful. Convinced us to buy leather furniture so we could just wipe it off.
Your girls are so precious!
Leslie,
We are about the begin the potty training process in our house and I would LOVE to pick you brain! How did you attack this in your home? Did you train the girls at the same time? Did you have potty chairs for each of them or did they sit on the the toilet? I would love to know how you went about it all! If you are up to sharing your thoughts you can email me karenarichardson@gmail.com or I could call you. Thank you in advance for any tips and wisdom you can share!
